Day 1

So here's the deal: I think it was last year, maybe, when The Brother started a project in which he would endeavor to write a short play every day. I think the original plan was to do it for a year, but it never quite panned out. It did lead to an honest-to-God book, though, so it seems like a fair trade to me.

So I thought it might be an interesting idea to do something similar, only take a picture a day over the course of a year. I suppose it'll be a little easier, provided I remember. In the end...? I dunno, I think it might make for an interesting exhibit, and at the very least, it'll provide an interesting look at the way I approach photography.

So here's day one: Anne and I went down this afternoon and took some pictures in the Grand Station area. It's for a larger project I'm working on, but I think it's fair game to borrow a shot from that for this. It's one of the neon 'Park' signs in the general area of the Fox and Powell Symphony Hall. Today was exceedingly grey, but I think it made these colors pop a bit more.

It's good. I like it.
