Day 4--Take this job...

It was suggested that I start titling these posts. So there you go. I'm nothing if not flexible.

Today was my first day "unattended," as it were. No shoots were planned, so I had to find something on my own. It's been snowing off and on quite often the past couple weeks, so it wasn't really surprising to find this shovel sitting around outside the bank.

I like the....ordinariness of the shot. It somewhat reminds me of the photos from Pink Floyd's Atom Heart Mother, which were pretty ordinary. In fact, when you're done here, you should go check out the work of Storm Thorgerson. It's really good.

Hopefully I'll have more insight into these pictures as this goes on. But so far all the shots have been pretty spur of the moment, so not much thought goes into them.
