I don't want to say I couldn't live without my iPod. Obviously I did for a long time. I will say that it's one of the most delightful little pieces of technology I've ever owned. Of course, I regret not getting a slightly larger model, but at least it forces me to keep my play list fresh.

i feel like a friggin caveman when i use ipods. i've not had much interaction with mp3 players in general and i'm constantly like "what...how does this work? it's not doing anything. IT'S NOT DOING ANYTHING. what's this lock symbol mean? it's locked? how do i unlock it? HOW DO I-- oh there's this switch up top. ok. now how do i play...HOW DO I PLAY MUSIC? this isn't what i want. how do i go back? fuck this thing."
