Day 359--This City of Mine

I've been making occasional trips downtown for the past two years or so gathering images for a (hopeful) show by the same name as this post. I used today's day off for what I think is the last installment of images. Now I just need to sit down and pick out enough for an exhibit. Oh and hope that they all work together. I was never 100% sure what I thought the theme of the project would be. At first it was minuscule details that caught my attention. But over time it shifted more to interesting angles on the stuff that people probably see all the time and take for granted. But we'll see how it all shakes out in the end.

Anyways. I like this picture.

Day 355--She's Still Back There, Isn't she?

I went to the zoo today and got a lot of great shots. Choosing just one was nigh impossible. This image won out, simply because of the juxtaposition of elements here. Is the penguin trying to tell me something? Probably not, but I can pretend he is.
