I like taking pictures of signs, though I can't give you a solid reason why. Maybe I'll know at the end of the week.

Day 259--The Lump of Coal

Fairly-famous and only somewhat odd author Lemony Snicket was in town on Saturday, promoting his new book, The Lump of Coal. So we had paper on the walls and genuine Kingsford briquettes on hand for artistic endeavors. Clever.

I went to visit my friend on Friday, and was going to take a picture of her pet lizard/dragon/thing, but it hadn't been moved into her new apartment yet. So I was going to take a picture of her new dog, but then I saw the old-school typewriter, and, well, that was that.
